is Judy Stewart and I am the proprietor of Smart Pet Parts. I live
in beautiful Boise, Idaho, along with my husband Charlie. We are
both retired and thus we have enough time to pursue other interests.
Our main interest is as small hobby breeders of show potential and companion
poodles. We strive for high quality toys and, once in awhile we will
have tiny toys available. We breed for apricot, deep red, black, or brown
in color and all are backed with a five generation pedigree.
My poodle venture is known as Azizi
Toy Poodles.
My interest
in dogs is not new. Six years ago I received a "Precious" little
black female Toy Poodle for Christmas. This was the first poodle I had
ever owned. Well, that was the beginning of a forever relationship with
the most wonderful little God given creature I had ever known. In
my previous life (before poodles), I had raised and showed Chows and Samoyeds
in the conformation show ring, and during that time I also owned and operated
a boarding kennel and grooming parlor.
I must tell
you honestly that Smart Pet Parts happened totally by accident. I
had an idea for a bed for my little poodles and it turned out pretty doggone
well if I do say so myself. Well someone saw a picture of one of
my dogs in that bed and they decided that they wanted one as well.
Since that time every time I have fashioned a new item for my own use;
when someone saw the item they just had to have one. Then, before
I knew it, I inadvertently had created had a new business venture.
About a
year or so ago I was fortunate to make connect with Rennie Vandenbosch
of Rennie’s Rose Red Poodles (poodles.com).
In addition to supplying me with some wonderful additions to our poodle
family, she is also the reason that my sales have been starting to boom.
Many customers purchasing one of her beautiful toy poodle puppies she also
referred to me. She was even so generous as to temporarily post my
“Pooch Pouches” on several pages of her site in order that my items could
gain more visibility. Thanks Rennie!
Now that
Smart Pet Parts continues to gain momentum I have to balance my time a
bit more but it allows me to enjoy the breed so much more by creating items
that will be enjoyed by others that love poodles as much as I do.
Reading
about the establishment of Smart Pet Parts could easily lead you to think
that my items are created for poodles only and that decision would be wrong.
My creations would suit any of the small breeds; Bichon Frise, Bolognese,
Boston Terrier, Brussels Griffon, Cairn Terrier, Chihuahua, Dachshund,
Havanese, Jack Russell Terrier, Japanese Chin, Kyi- Leo, Lhasa Apso, Maltese,
Manchester Terrier, Miniature Pinscher, Miniature Schnauzer, Norfolk Terrier,
Norwich Terrier, Pekingese, Pomeranian, Pug, Rat Terrier, Scottish Terrier,
Shih Tzu, Silky Terrier, Skye Terrier, Tibetan Spaniel, Toy Fox Terrier,
West Highland White Terrier or Yorkshire Terrier, just to name only a few!
Of course
I could go on and on and tell you just how great I think my products are,
but comments by some other dog owners/lovers might better tell that part

The bed
arrived this afternoon. As you can see, it was love at first sight. I think
it is just beautiful-----so very "poodle" the colors are stunning and it's
so plush and soft. They are curled up in it along with three of their favorite
toys (which they have brought upstairs and put in it) as I write this.
